Privacy Policy
Trading Floor, by Bonez Studio · Effective November 3, 2026
This policy explains what information the game Trading Floor ("the game") collects, why, and the choices you have. The game is made by Bonez Studio ("we", "us"). Questions or requests: support@bonezstudio.com.
The short version
- You don't create an account with an email or real name. The game makes an anonymous player ID on first launch.
- Your game progress is saved on your phone. When you're online, some of it is shared with our server so Firms, co-op Deals and the Weekly Cup work.
- Ads are optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played.
- We don't sell your information.
Information stored on your phone
Your game save (desks, cash, cards, settings and so on) is stored on your device. You can erase it at any time in the game: Settings → Wipe all data.
Information our server keeps
When the game can reach the internet it talks to our game server, which runs on Cloudflare in the United States. The server keeps:
- Your player ID (random) and a secret token the game uses to sign in, stored only in hashed form.
- Your trader name: a random "TraderNNNN" name, or one you choose. Don't use your real name if you'd rather not.
- Game progress you report: best era, Legacy, your weekly growth score for the Weekly Cup, results of Deals you play, and counts of activities (Market Crashes, R&D projects collected, Deal medals) that earn Firm points.
- Firm information: which Firm you're in, your role, and the preset chat messages you send. (Chat uses fixed phrases only; you can't type free text.)
- Purchases and gifts, once in-app purchases are available: what was bought, its price and the Firm Gifts it created. Payment details stay with Apple or Google; we never see your card.
- Times of these events and of your last visit.
Cloudflare, which hosts the server, processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver and protect the service. We don't store your IP address in the game's database.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows rewarded ads only, and only when you choose to watch one (for example, for a boost or Bullion). Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone only if you allow tracking; on Android the Android advertising ID), your IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choices before personalized ads are shown, and you can change them later. On iPhone, you can deny or allow tracking in the system prompt or in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics to see how the game is played so we can improve it, for example how many players finish the tutorial or reach a new era. It collects game events (such as tutorial steps, progress milestones, purchases and ads watched), an app-instance ID, device and operating-system information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Learn more: Privacy and Security in Firebase.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for or collect your real name, email address (unless you email us), phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
How we use information
- To run the game's online features: Firms, Firm levels and perks, gifts, co-op Deals, the Weekly Cup and rewards.
- To show the rewarded ads you choose to watch, and to give you their rewards.
- To understand and improve the game, fix bugs and keep it fair (for example, spotting impossible scores).
- To answer you when you contact us.
Who can see your information
- Other players can see your trader name, era, Firm, role, preset chat messages and Weekly Cup or Deal scores, where the game shows them.
- Service providers that run parts of the game for us: Cloudflare (hosting) and Google (AdMob and Firebase). They process information under their own privacy terms.
- If the law requires it, or to protect players and the game.
We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising other than through the ads described above.
How long we keep it
We keep server information while your player ID is in use and delete it when you ask. "Wipe all data" in Settings clears your phone and starts a new player ID; to also delete what the server keeps, email us your player ID (shown at the bottom of Settings in the game). We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or privacy laws in California and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, and to object to or limit some uses. Email support@bonezstudio.com with your player ID and request; we'll respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The game isn't directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has used the game, email us and we'll delete the information.
Security
Connections to our server are encrypted (HTTPS), sign-in tokens are stored only in hashed form, and access to the server is limited. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and its effective date, and tell you in the game when the changes are significant.
